Warranty & Replacement

Last UpdatedNovember 17, 2025

At Cinicam, we stand by the quality of the cameras, accessories, and mobile phones we sell. We understand that issues can sometimes arise with electronic devices and precision equipment. This Warranty & Replacement Policy outlines how we handle product defects and malfunctions that occur beyond our standard return period.

1. Manufacturer’s Warranty

Primary Warranty Provider:  All new products sold by Cinicam are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. The duration and terms of this warranty are determined by the respective manufacturer, not by Cinicam.
Warranty Information: Details regarding specific product warranties (e.g., duration, coverage, limitations, registration requirements) can typically be found:
In the product documentation included with your purchase.
On the manufacturer’s official website.
Please retain your proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) from Cinicam, as it will be required by the manufacturer to validate your warranty claim.
Your Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and adhere to the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, including any registration requirements, and to contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims.

2. Cinicam’s Role in Warranty Claims

Assistance, Not Provider: Cinicam does not provide its own separate warranty on new products beyond our initial return period. Our role is to facilitate your interaction with the manufacturer where possible and offer guidance.
Contact First: If you believe your product is defective and falls under the manufacturer’s warranty after our 30 day return period, please first attempt to contact the product’s manufacturer directly. They are equipped to provide specialized technical support, troubleshooting, and direct warranty service (repair or replacement).
Support: If you encounter difficulties contacting the manufacturer or navigating their warranty process, please feel free to reach out to Cinicam customer support at support@cinicam.com. We will do our best to assist you by providing contact information, general advice, or helping you understand the manufacturer’s process.

3. Product Replacement Under Warranty

Manufacturer’s Discretion: Any replacement or repair under warranty is solely at the discretion of the product manufacturer. Cinicam will process a replacement only if explicitly directed to do so by the manufacturer, or if an agreement is reached between Cinicam and the customer in extraordinary circumstances.
Conditions: Replacements provided under warranty are typically for the same model, or an equivalent model if the original is no longer available.

4. Exclusions from Warranty (General Manufacturer Exclusions)

Manufacturer warranties typically do NOT cover:

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, liquid damage, or unauthorized modifications.
Normal wear and tear.
Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents) unless specifically noted as a manufacturing defect upon initial receipt.
Loss of data (always back up your devices).
Products with altered, defaced, or removed serial numbers.
Batteries (often have a shorter, separate warranty).
Third-party accessories or software not included with the original product.

5. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Products

Definition: A product is considered “Dead on Arrival” if it is found to be non-functional or severely defective immediately upon unboxing and initial setup.
Procedure: If you receive a product that is DOA, please contact Cinicam customer support at support@cinicam.com within 72 hours of delivery. We will work with you to troubleshoot the issue and, if confirmed DOA, arrange for an immediate return, refund, or replacement at no additional cost to you, bypassing the standard manufacturer warranty process for quicker resolution.

6. Used/Open Box/Refurbished Items

Products sold as “used,” “open box,” or “refurbished” (if applicable) may have different or limited warranty terms. Any specific warranty for such items will be clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase.

7. Limitations of Liability

Cinicam shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the use or inability to use a product, or for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our responsibility is limited to the purchase price of the product, in line with our Terms & Conditions.
